Master Trainer's Orientation

Master Trainers’ Orientation is a six-month training for graduates who are sent by churches and missions. This course is offered in hybrid mode, both face-to-face and online.

Concept:

We partner with churches and mission organizations to train Master Trainers, who in turn will train grassroots workers in holistic (spiritual, social and economic) development. Thus, we ensure multiple effect, wider impact, and broader benefit throughout the country.

 

Purpose:

The purpose is to train Master Trainers deputed by churches and missions and equip them to train grass-roots level harvesters from across India. We also provide them with training in simple technologies to make them self-sustained missionaries and effectively transfer the technologies to the harvesters.

Curriculum: 

  • Cultural Anthropology
  • Cross-cultural communication
  • Theology of Mission
  • Bible study and exposition skills,
  • Kingdom Principles
  • Holistic Gospel

Apart from the above mandatory subjects, the Master Trainers are given training in 30+ appropriate technologies and computer applications, and can select any two of the following electives offered as guided studies. 

  • Urban Ministry
  • Ministry to the high-risk people 
  • Campus ministry
  • Holistic development through Micro-credit groups
  • Community development
  • Workplace ministry

 

 

Method:

With a collaborative approach, Master Trainers are recruited from different churches and missions. They are oriented for six months both face-to-face and online modes. 

Training is given by TENT faculty and eminent resource persons from India and other countries in the above subjects. The method of teaching is non-formal through seminars and workshops.
